INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 cups fresh grated coconut
- 2½ cups desiccated coconut for rolling (unsweetened)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup condensed milk
METHOD:
- Heat 1 tsp ghee in a frying pan.
- Saute fresh coconut in ghee for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Mix milk and cardamom powder in a pan coconut.
- Stir very well and cook this mixture on a low flame.
- Now add condense milk.
- Turn on stove and cook in low medium heat, stirring constantly until sticky and a mass pulls away from the pan.
- Let cool a little. Cool and roll into laddoos with oiled hands. Roll in the reserved desiccated coconut.
- You can also make all the laddos at once and then roll in the desiccated coconut.
- Serve coconut laddos straight away or refrigerate and serve them later.
